Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, an Afrobeats singing sensation, has paid tribute to Dagrin, an iconic Nigerian rap artist, on the 12th anniversary of his death.

Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun, the legendary Nigerian rapper, died in April 2010 after crashing his car into a stationary truck around 3 a.m. in Mushin, Lagos.

As Nigerians remember the late Dagrin 12 years after his tragic death, Oxlade, a young talented singer, paid an emotional tribute to the Nigerian superstar on his official Instagram page.

He wrote;

I never spend this day without thinking about you. Your candlelight ended in front of Luth gate Mushin… Right in front of my Granny’s shop. You may be gone, but not forgotten. Keep protecting us Namesake”.
