As he chills with Nigerian mega-star Wizkid on his Xmas stay in Ghana, Ghanaian dancehall singer Livingstone Etse Satekla has ignored the roars of his colleague Shatta Wale against the Nigerian music industry.

It will be remembered that Shatta Wale used his #FreedomWave Concert to slam Nigerians, arguing that he doesn’t need a Nigerian performer to sell out or make a show successful. He also chastised the Nigerian music industry for refusing to help the Ghanaian music industry, despite the fact that they had received backing from Ghanaians.

Shatta Wale then went on to bash Ghana’s music industry for suggesting that he wouldn’t be able to sell out his own show. Shatta Wale got crazy and made some terrible comments against the Ghanaian music business.

Ghanaians and Nigerians were divided over his remarks, with some believing it was improper for him to criticize his Nigerian counterparts simply because he wanted to address a pressing issue.

Daddy Freeze, Yul Edochie, and DJ Bign, among others, reacted to his ranting by slamming him for blasting Nigerians for their lack of support and publicly humiliating them.

Although one would expect his peers to rally behind him, Stonebwoy has chosen to ignore him as he performs with Wizkid in Accra.
