Suspected Yahoo Boy Accused Of K!lling His Girlfriend And Burying Her In His Room In Bayelsa

An unidentified young Nigerian man reportedly turned himself in to police after being charged with killing Kate, his girlfriend, and burying her in his room.

The incident was said to have occurred on Friday, July 29, 2022, after the deceased was said to have been missing for days and the suspect denied knowing her whereabouts.

On Friday morning, the family confronted the young man because they believed he had been lying to them and demanded to know whether the deceased was alive or dead.

He confessed to killing his girlfriend and burying her in a shallow grave he dug in his bedroom after they put a lot of pressure on him.

Before being turned over to the police for a proper investigation, the suspect was brutally beaten by a few locals and the relatives of the deceased.

In other news, police officers in Lagos are said to have detained two suspected auto thieves after they forcibly seized a Toyota Corolla 2000 model with the license plate LND-664-GF along the Egbeda road.

Abiodun Nurudeen, 36, and Anthony Richard, 45, two suspects who were reportedly ex-offenders, were apprehended at around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 24.

The suspects were released from the Ikoyi Correctional Facility on May 5 and June 4, 2022, respectively, according to a statement released on July 27 by Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson.

According to Benjamin, a preliminary investigation revealed that the car was taken in or near Lekki in the state of Lagos.

Additionally, he urged the owner of the stolen vehicle to come to the station with proof of ownership in order to recover the vehicle until the time the suspects are brought to court at the conclusion of the investigation.
