In Bayelsa State, a 14-year-old girl was rescued from two teenage boys who were allegedly attempting to use her for ritual purposes.
The two 16-year-old boys were apprehended in the early hours of Monday at Sagbama Federated Community in the state’s Sagbama Local Government Area.
According to reports, the teenagers used a charm to entice the girl to an unfinished building to carry out the operation, but their luck ran out when they were apprehended by a passerby who suspected their ‘ill’ behavior.
One of the boys is said to be the son of the Amanana-owei community’s traditional ruler.
