Veteran Nigerian actor, Oludotun Baiyewu Jacobs, better known as Olu Jacobs has won a Life Time Achievement Award at the 2021 Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) Awards.

The Africa International Film Festival Globe Awards was held in Lagos state, Nigeria, on Saturday, the 13th of November, 2021.

Taking to her social media handle on popular social media platform, Instagram, Olu’s wife and veteran actress, Ajoke Silva shared the great news with her 801k followers.

Sharing a photo of her husband holding the award plaque, she wrote

“Lifetime achievement award winner ,sir Olu Jacobs @_olujacobs , curtesy @afriff”

This is coming following reports that made rounds on social media about Olu Jacobs’ death; some of which stated otherwise that the actor is bedridden as a result of a health complication.
