After global onscreen domination of late 2020, Shonda Rhimes period drama, “Bridgerton” returns for a second season.

Following the conclusion of the romantic arc between Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings, (Regé-Jean Page) at the end of season one, the next chapter will focus on Daphne’s brother Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) as he navigates becoming a Viscount, alongside his romantic exploits.

The new clip not only teases the return of Bridgerton next year, but that a feisty new romance is on the horizon with the introduction of the new lead – Sex Education star Simone Ashley as Kate Sharma.

Sadly ‘Rege-jean page’ who played the titular role of ‘the duke’ won’t be returning for the second season.
