Wizkid’s fourth studio album, “Made In Lagos” has now spent a total of 46 weeks on Billboard World Albums Chart, becoming the longest-charting Album on the chart, a record previously held by Fela’s “The Best Of The Black President” album with 45 weeks.

The new millstone was announced by notjustok via their verified Instagram page on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. They wrote;

Wizkid Made in Lagos is now the longest-charting Album on the Billboard World Album Charts (46 weeks)❤️🦅

This is coming after Fela’s son, Seun Kuti took to his social media handle to give insight into why he thinks the likes of Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido cannot be greater than his father.

“You can’t be greater than that which you take from or steal from!

“Until Fela comes back from the dead and steals some of your favorites’ music, uses their lyrics the way they steal his lyrics and music, your comparison is null and void. Baba ni dads nje.”- he wrote on Instagram.

“I have warned many of u, many times to stop using your ancestors as tooth pick, especially those that fought for u but your ignorance just won’t let u be so you can’t learn and that’s why you keep living a cursed life of criminality without direction, infatuation without love, present without future, and pleasure without control. You are cursed to be indisciplined and you think you are having fun. These kids don’t know!!! #getthesax.”- he added.
