“Dear Reno, Your Yard Stick Is Preposterous” Uche Maduagwu Blast Reno After He Said Yorubas are The Most Successful Ethnic Groups in Nigeria
Nollywood controversial actor, Uche Maduagwu, has turned to social media to call out Nigerian businessman, Reno Omokri, following his statement regarding the Yoruba tribe, in which he stated that the Yoruba tribe, like people from other sections of the country, is made up of important people.
Remember that Reno Omokri, a Nigerian activist, had previously taken to his official Instagram page to tell why the Yoruba tribe is the most successful in Nigeria, stating that the tribe is the most successful in Nigeria because the Yoruba people are the most respected people in the country.
Reno Omokri also stated that the Yoruba tribe was the first ethnic group in Africa to create a military leader who handed over authority to civilians, as well as the first tribe to generate Grammy-winning performers.
However, in response to the disclosure of the former adviser to Goodluck Jonathan, Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu took to his own Instagram page to respond, stating that Reno Omokri’s criterion for finding that the Yoruba tribe is the most prosperous tribe in Nigeria is absurd.
Uche Maduagwu went on to say that the Yoruba tribe, like other ethnic groups in the country, is made up of beautiful and great people, and that a Yoruba man is supposed to prostrate before his elders as a sign of respect, whereas the Igbos, Hausas, and other ethnic groups have their own way of showing respect to their elders.
Finally, Uche Maduagwu remarked that while one tribe may be more developed than the others in terms of education, the various ethnic groupings in Nigeria are what reinforce and connect the people together.
