A man who immigrated to Africa’s Ivory Coast has created the world’s first floating hotel out of 800,000 plastic bottles.
Eric’s floating hotel has become rather popular, with an average of 100 people visiting each week.
The well-equipped floating hotel is available for rent for $100 (N40k) each night and includes amenities such as Wi-Fi, solar-powered lighting, and air conditioning.
The hostel can be moved from one place on the sea to another at the request of the guests.
The businessman is seeking to establish more hotels in a similar method and has increased attempts to gather more plastic bottle wastes, basking in the pleasure of the success of his first mind-boggling idea.
He enlists the help of children to collect any plastic bottles they may find, particularly on the Ivory Coast’s beach banks.
The eco-friendly hotel was not constructed entirely of plastic bottles, but also included the usage of wood.
