Nigerians Brag Too Much – Tonto Dikeh Says As She Shares How Happy She Is That Ghana Won
As some people reacted negatively to the Super Eagles’ loss to the Black Stars, Tonto Dikeh expressed her delight that Ghana triumphed because her people (Nigerians) brag a lot.
Tonto Dikeh added her two cents, saying she’s pleased for Ghana and, as much as she loves her people, Nigerians brag too much, and losing this match is the best thing that could have happened since it would have distracted them from assuming leadership next year.
According to her, she wishes the Black Stars of Ghana had beaten the Super Eagles of Nigeria 3-1 to add salt to their injury since they brag a lot, and if her opinion offends you, you may write your own because everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Tonto Dikeh then said that failure is also a gain if you think about it carefully, and in their situation, they’re deeply distracted to assume leadership in 2023, so missing out on the world cup will allow them time to focus on that without being distracted.
Some people are outraged that Nigeria did not qualify for the World Cup, especially because its neighbors Ghana did, but Tonto Dikeh and a few others believe it is for the best because they cannot afford any distractions come 2023.
